The blind side

Oher was one of the twelve sons of Michael Jerome Williams and Denise Oher. His mother was addicted to cocaine from her pregnancy with him. As a result, received little constructive attention during their formative years, repeated two years of first grade and second grade, he attended eleven different schools during his first nine years as a student. Also at some times kept in homes and periods of homelessness before the age of 16, he lived with several foster families and a teammate at Briarcrest football for twenty months. Eventually led to his grade point average of 0.6 to 2.52 GPA by the end of his senior year, becoming a "student grade B". He started in 10 games at guard during his first season with the Mississippi, becoming a freshman All-American first team. He moved to the left tackle position for the 2006 season and was named to a variety of all season. Was named second team SEC offensive lineman following his second season and first team SEC offensive lineman following his junior season. Oher also had academic success at Ole Miss, and his IQ increased by 20-30 points between the time measured in the public school systems grow and when measured in college, it's good to see that did not surrender in spite of their difficulties in childhood and moved forward.

  1. Hi Mari!!
This movie leaves us as teaching that we must always move forward and overcome all obstacles that come out, and we'll always have family or good people around us to help us; and the most important thing is that we will always have God on our side to a support us
